Demis G. Illes (1981) graduated at the University of Tilburg in the Netherlands in 2006.
He was sworn in as attorney by the Court of Appeals of the Netherlands Antilles and Aruba in November 2008.
He started with his studies in 2001 with the intension to become a Police Inspector, but after his first year of general law study, he became highly interested in criminal law, and decided to change his major. He graduated in November of 2006 with his thesis about the discrepancies (tensions) that exists between the Dutch-Antilles extradition decree and the Dutch Extradition Law.
After working for one year at the Legislative department of Aruba, he got the opportunity to join one of the most prestigious and dynamic legal firms of Aruba; DK Legal.
He is a member of the Aruba Bar Association.
He practices on various areas of private and public law but focuses mainly on labor law, administrative law and criminal law.
